SRAX, a digital marketing and consumer data management technology company, announced that users have the ability to import their data from Facebook into the BIGtoken platform. This news surfaced on 05 August.
SRAX added that the novel feature would allow each user to increase the value of their information for third-party marketers while increasing their earning opportunities. SRAX further noted that by integrating historical data, consumers are able to provide the full picture of their digital identity. Advertisers were benefited from a more efficient data set. Facebook is the first social media from which BIGtoken would enable users to import data from.

“Worldwide, there are over 2.38 billion monthly active Facebook users and, for the first time, BIGtoken is giving these users an opportunity to earn from the data they’ve created. For the first time ever, SRAX is enabling these users to leverage their Facebook data to their own benefit. By cooperating with consumers on the use of their data, marketers and media buyers will be able to view a more accurate picture of the consumer and benefit from a higher quality data set. Currently over 50 percent of media ad spend is wasted on incorrect data. SRAX benefits marketers by helping them allocate budgets accurately while rewarding consumers for sharing verified data and controlling the data that is shared.”
SRAX sustained by adding that along with Facebook, an additional 24 platforms would follow including Amazon and Twitter. The digital marketing firm averred that BIG continues to streamline advertising and data management for both consumers and advertisers. SRAX noted that BIG rewards consumers for participating in the sales of their digital data, in turn, generating high-quality data for advertisers.
SRAX announced that users of the BIGtoken app could officially be paid in cash or gift cards in exchange for giving access to their data. SRAX noted that many users who have been dedicated to answering questions, checking into locations, recruiting new members, and more, could deposit their earnings directly into their PayPal accounts or be paid through gift cards.
SRAX maintained by throwing light on its key industry engagements. SRAX’s technology tweaks data to reveal core consumers and their characteristics across marketing channels. SRAX noted that through its blockchain identification graph technology platform, BIGtoken, the firm had developed a consumer-managed marketplace. Such an ecosystem helps people own and earn from their data.
