Klaytn, the leading blockchain platform led by Kakao, announced that the official listing of its KLAY token will happen on Upbit. This development was reported on 04 September.
Klaytn is a service-oriented blockchain platform providing a seamless development environment. Klaytn emphasized that it was built upon reliability and significant stability. There was also scope provided for mass adoption. Klaytn noted that it allows real-world applications of large scale to be produced right away.
Klaytn commenced by headlining that its KLAY token would be listed on Upbit Singapore and Upbit Indonesia. The blockchain platform further added that it was developed by Ground X, the blockchain arm of Korea’s popular mobile messenger platform, Kakao. Klaytn noted that it is a public blockchain platform whose mainnet had launched shortly.
Jason Han, the CEO of Ground X, heading the development of the Klaytn platform said –
“We are excited for the upcoming KLAY debut listing on Upbit Singapore and Upbit Indonesia. With the official introduction of KLAY, we expect more developers and service providers will participate in the growth of the Klaytn platform. Klaytn maintained that it focuses on empowering personnel to offer blockchain services with responsiveness, robustness, and usability. Such features would be on par with those based on legacy technologies, to avoid adoption hurdles. Klaytn also noted that it was partnering with major firms including LG Electronics and UnionBank of the Philippines. The partnership is part of its Klaytn Service Partners and Governance Council programs.
Quantstamp, a blockchain security company, has completed its audit of smart contracts for Klaytn, the blockchain platform created by Kakao. Quantstamp mentioned Kakao as the operator of South Korea’s messaging platform KakaoTalk. Quantstamp further added that built by GroundX, a Kakao subsidiary, Klaytn is a business-centric blockchain platform planned for mass adoption.
Theta Labs shared the announcement that Klaytn, the blockchain project launched by Kakao wing GroundX would partner with SLIVER.tv and Theta Labs to launch SLIVER.tv Korea. Theta Labs conveyed that SLIVER.tv Korea would be a new esports mobile app powered by the Theta video delivery network. The pioneers of Theta token and network added SLIVER.tv Korea would join Klaytn blockchain platform as an initial launch partner.
