Global cryptocurrency FuturoCoin announced its partnership with the Aston Martin Red Bull Formula One racing team on 05 February.

The partnership marks the first that a cryptocurrency has sponsored a team in Formula One. It also headlines the development of this camaraderie between cryptocurrencies and sports.

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Team Principal, Christian Horner cited –

“In recent years, the rise of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies has been truly remarkable, and we’re delighted to be the first Formula One team to embrace this, through our sponsorship agreement/partnership with FuturoCoin.”

Christian acknowledged the fact that digital coins are making an evident technological impact and it is a good development to be a part of this revolution. The multi-year agreement will headline FuturoCoin branding feature on the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing RB15, driver’s overalls, and team transporters.

FuturoCoin's sponsorship of a Formula One team would drive awareness and glam!

Roman Ziemian, co-founder of FuturoCoin added that there are many similarities between Formula One and cryptocurrencies. Both of these technologies are oriented towards technology, speed, and futuristic vision. Roman shared his immense interest in F1 and noted that this global platform would set the base to drive awareness about cryptocurrencies.

Paulina Woźniak, CEO of FuturoCoin’s management company emphatically mentioned that it is indeed a matter of pride for FuturoCoin to be the first cryptocurrency to appear on a Formula One car. She also said that it would be great to work with Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team which is world renowned.

The owners of FuturoCoin believe that it would be the next cryptocurrency to take off. FuturoCoin is trying to attract buyers for its tokens by focusing on payment times and quick transfer while providing fixed fees for transfers.

Although this sponsorship dawns an era where a cryptocurrency is entering into the domain of Formula One, this is not the first venture into sports sponsorship. There have been instances of football teams signing deals with crypto firms.

Last month, FuturoCoin reported that they would soon celebrate the first anniversary of their coin. FuturoCoin noted that the end of the last year was rigorous for the cryptocurrency industry. FuturoCoin, however, has geared up and is on the growth trajectory.

With the diverse fan base for Formula One, cryptocurrency backing to this fast sport further promotes affinity among spectators.
