Elementus, blockchain analytics platform, raises capital

Elementus, the most advanced blockchain analytics platform, has successfully raised 3.5 million U.S. dollars with a suite of financial institutions. This news emerged on 25 September.

Elementus conveyed on its key industry engagements stating that its mission is to make sense of blockchain data. Elementus strives to achieve this by offering an enterprise blockchain analytics platform for institutional asset managers, financial service organizations, and government agencies. Elementus is headquartered in New York.

Elementus started by informing that this funding round was led by Morgan Creek Digital with participation from Avon Ventures and other corporates. The blockchain analytics platform further added that this round follows another capital raise executed last year, with other participants. Elementus emphasized that this fundraise from prominent financial firms validates the firm as having an edge over institutions entering the cryptoasset industry.

Elementus sustained by adding that another point of the highlight was the induction of two new key members. Charles Senatore, Senior Advisor at Devonshire Investors, who formerly led global compliance functions for Fidelity Investments and Merrill Lynch, is joining the board of advisors. Anthony Pompliano, co-founder and partner at Morgan Creek Digital, joining as the Board of Directors at Elementus.

Anthony Pompliano expressed that the current solutions on the market were the first iteration to bring the industry to the current state. He further added that the Elementus blockchain index methodology would stand to disrupt the current market today. Anthony expressed enthusiasm to work with the team as they continue partnering with institutional asset managers, financial service organizations, and regulators globally.

Blockchain analytics startup Coin Metrics raised USD 1.9 million from asset management firm through seed funding, which includes the asset management firm Fidelity. The seed funding round was also led by Castle Island Ventures which also saw participation from Dragonfly Capital and Highland Capital Partners.

Coin Metrics presents transparent data to various industry stakeholders. The report also stated that the firm began as an open-source project and tapped into the expertise of a community of developers to become a significant industry resource.
