BlockApps, Tech Mahindra collaborate for blockchain biz

BlockApps, the leading enterprise blockchain platform provider, announced a partnership with Tech Mahindra Ltd., to accelerate the adoption of blockchain business networks. This development was reported on 08 August.

BlockApps commenced by informing that the demand for enterprise blockchain networks is high, but adoption has been limited. This was primarily attributed to the challenge of integrating data from existing systems with blockchain technology. The blockchain platform added that Tech Mahindra would apply its extensive experience to solve the adversity while rendering integration with the BlockApps STRATO platform.

Kieren James Lubin, CEO of BlockApps cited – 

“As we continue to launch production blockchain business networks across industries such as agriculture, supply chain and entertainment, we have seen a clear need to communicate with the systems enterprises already have. By working with Tech Mahindra, we can make this process easier than ever, and help companies preserve existing investments.” 

BlockApps sustained by adding that BlockApps STRATO was the first Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform. BlockApps further added that the platform enables blockchain solutions across all industry verticals. The blockchain platform clarified that built on Ethereum protocols, the service also provides core features, such as flexible integration capabilities, high transaction performance, and the capability to query on blockchain data using traditional business tools. 


Rajesh Dhuddu, Global Practice Leader of Blockchain at Tech Mahindra expressed that enterprises across the world were seeking new ways of incorporating blockchain technology in their existing systems. Rajesh opined that with its partnership with BlockApps, the firm had simplified the process. Companies could now transform their legacy systems into a blockchain-based business network without hassles.

ALTEN Calsoft Labs announced the launch of “BioPharma Ledger”, a blockchain clinical trial platform. The scalable blockchain platform would change clinical trials. ALTEN Calsoft Labs further added on a few technicalities of the platform. The Blockchain Platform for clinical trials would leverage the BlockApps STRATO platform.
